As you move forward in the work life journey, it is helpful to take time to learn from the past, embrace the present, and plan for the future. Whether your work life journey continues uninterrupted or encounters an unexpected disruption, I believe the "CDA Principle," which stands for confidence, discipline, and attitude, is essential for establishing and managing your personal brand towards pursuing meaningful transitions in the work life journey.

  • Confidence is the first, and most critical, component of the CDA principle. Before anyone can believe in you and your skills and abilities, you must first believe in yourself.

  • Discipline is the focus on the plan, effort and activities designed to achieve specific goals and objectives and pursue meaningful transitions in the work life journey.

  • Attitude is the third and final component of the CDA principle. Attitude plays a major role in everything we do and achieve or not. In other words, attitude is a catalyst to greater self-confidence.
